More than just a school

Having been on both sides of the desk, I can honestly say that Vancouver Hebrew Academy is an incredible place and so much more than just a school. The passion and enthusiasm for learning and Torah is palpable when you walk in the building, and the warmth and family-like feel makes it hard to go home at the end of the day.

Eliana Claman (Graduated 2007) — Since graduating from VHA in 2007 Eliana attended Shalhevet Girls High School, graduated from King David High School, then attended McGill University, Hebrew University, the University of British Columbia, and Midreshet Rachel V’Chaya. Prepared for Jewish Life

My experience at VHA prepared me for living a Jewish life, introduced me to many mentors and friends, and left me with many good memories.

Shmuel Hart — After Shmuel Hart graduated from high school he studied for two years in yeshiva In Israel, and now is currently serving in the Israeli Defence Forces. Once Shmuel finishes his service he will make Aliyah, go back to yeshiva, and plan to study at university in the near future.
